We’ve introduced a new feature that allows you to isolate external users from each other. When enabled users of type external do not see other external users. This includes their activity in the newsfeed, their contact cards or permission reports.
There are a number of use cases where this could be beneficial. For example, if you are a construction company and wish to share a drawings and plans with a number of sub-contractors but don’t wish those sub-contractors to know about each other, during the tender phase for example, then this feature is ideal as it allows you to keep one set of documents, updates and information for all bidding sub-contractors.
To switch this setting on/off please log into your Safeshareit extranet portal as an administrator, go into Settings > System Settings and check the ‘Isolate External Users’ checkbox, found under the Newsfeed Options section.
